Why you should come to my show or book me

The biggest problem in finding musical entertainment while vacationing or while booking something for your wedding or party is finding the musician that not only is good but fun as well. Let's face it - many musicians are BORING !! My promise to you is that I will not be boring. I have a concealed secret weapon at my disposal. Do you want to know what it is? It's CHEESE!!

A Brief History

Time stood still from the early Pleistocene Epoch (that's prehistoric for the historically challenged) until 1990. Then, in 1992, something big happened. I went on a ski vacation and a Caribbean cruise. On both trips I saw bands and solo acoustic players that not only lacked in quality, but also lacked in enthusiasm and confidence. They didn't even take advantage of the fact that they were in front of groups of vacationing people who were looking to cut loose. Many people did in fact have fun on those occasions, but only after they got out of earshot of those musicians. Consequently in 1994, I was inspired to co-found an acoustic duo to go out and address this issue. I wanted to sound good AND have fun with the audience. The duo, the Mighty Chihuahuas played together on a full time basis from 1995 to 1999. (and is playing presently part time) In June 1997, I also began to play solo. Since then, I have played in the Ocean City, MD/Delaware Seashore every summer, Killington, VT ski resort every winter and a combination of Ft. Myers, FL, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Connecticut and the Washington/Baltimore area in the spring and fall. I do resort family shows, private parties and weddings. The Songlist

I hand out a songlist from which you can choose what you want to hear. The main focus is popular music from the 1960's through the present. There are hundreds of choices. It's kind of like a live jukebox. And no, it's NOT Karaoke !! (Frequent Asked Question #1 when I pass out my songlists prior to my show) I do invite people to sing but retain the right to gong them if they offend the fine taste of my audience. Format

What I play depends on what is requested or what I see in the audience. Sometimes it will be mostly Caribbean in flavor. Sometimes it will be dance, sing-along, esoteric, skits, comedy, kid-based, or some combination. Sometimes I am forced to play the Hokey-Pokey using interesting body parts. Pass the cheese.
